My Story
I was born and raised in North Philadelphia, PA to the parents of Herbert and Gwendolyn Harvey. I am the youngest of 8 children and deeply value family, time and connections. I enjoy painting, music, traveling, and most outdoor activities. I like to spend my free time indulging in self-care and spa activities as well as having fun with my two boys (ages 7 and 15).
As a young child, I developed a passion for helping those in need. I've witnessed many people struggle in the urban community I grew up in, and I desperately wanted to see them find peace and balance in their lives, hoping it would be a pathway to help them thrive. Studying human behavior became a hobby of mines and I slowly developed a love for psychology.
I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in March 2020. Receiving my education experience at Temple University of Philadelphia, Virginia State University of Virginia, and Rutgers University of New Jersey. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Psychology & my Masters in Clinical Social Work, I’ve also been very blessed to acquire experience in working closely with individuals of all ages and of various ethnic backgrounds throughout many states.
I've been in the Mental Health field for over 11 years in which I’ve gained experience in working with youths, young adults, couples, and families. During the years I served as a military spouse, I’ve grown a love for the military population and the communities. I’ve dedicated 11 years to working with military personnel and civilians overseas as well as stateside. Servicing youth has been my passion for the last 15 years however, working with guardians of my clients has allowed me to develop a love for servicing adults as well.

My upbringing and social interactions in the urban community has allowed me to connect with people of different socioeconomic backgrounds. I take pride in servicing my clients through a holistic perspective and integrative approach. This means, I commit to joining my clients on the journey of healing and restoration by examining them as an individual. Utilizing this approach allows my clients to identify underlying issues, and together we find solutions that can help manage or overcome challenging situations in a healthy manner.
